3 Doors Down donates autographed cymbal to be auctioned at Cherokee Indian Hospital Foundation Gala

The Cherokee Indian Hospital Foundation is thrilled to announce that the Better Life Foundation, which was established by the band in March of 2004 with the mission of making a positive change in the lives of children and young adults, has generously provided funding to sponsor the guest speaker for the 12th annual Foundation Gala. The event is scheduled for July 15, 2023, at the Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort.

The Better Life Foundation has consistently supported the Hospital Foundation over the last several years due to the shared mission of improving the quality of life for others. The foundation has committed financial support to the Gala as well as donated autographed items by the band to be auctioned during the silent auction. This year, the Better Life Foundation has donated a drum cymbal autographed by 3 Doors Down for the silent auction.

In addition to the autographed band memorabilia, the Better Life Foundation is taking their support to a new level by providing funding for the Gala to host Dr. Stephen Trzeciak as the guest speaker. Dr. Trzeciak’s message of the importance of compassion and empathy aligns perfectly with both the hospital foundation’s purpose of improving the quality of life for the community and the mission of the Better Life Foundation to have a positive impact in the lives of children and young adults.

“We are deeply grateful to the Better Life Foundation for their ongoing support and generous contribution to this year’s Foundation Gala,” said Brittney Lofthouse, Development Director for the Cherokee Indian Hospital Foundation. “Their dedication to improving the lives of others is truly inspiring, and we are honored to have their support. As a lifelong fan of 3 Doors Down, I thrilled to know they use their talents to not only entertain, but to also ignite lasting change that has a measurable impact in our communities.”

Each year the benefit weekend is the primary source of donations and funding for the foundation.
