The Cherokee Indian Hospital Foundation (CIHF) has a mission within a mission, you might say: Primarily, it is to assist the well-being of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, enriching their lives through better health and healthcare outcomes. We do that by strengthening the Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority (CIHA), including the individual clinics and hospital that comprise it.

The Foundation’s highest-profile community event was held on July 15, 2023 at the Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort Convention Center. The 12th Annual Foundation Gala was a spectacular evening, with dinner, dancing, photo booths, Artisans Market, and a silent auction filled with valuable items donated by several local businesses and artists.
